Some of the Philippines’ leading developers have proven that they are among the best of the best after bagging recognitions in the recently concluded South East Asia Property Awards 2016.
Local property developers ArthaLand and SM Prime Holdings Inc. proudly took home regional titles, besting all other national winners in the region.
ArthaLand was awarded Special Recognition in Sustainable Development for its ArthaLand Century Pacific Tower project in Bonifacio Global City while SM Prime Holdings Inc. was conferred the Best Hotel Architectural Design for Conrad Manila.

The South East Asia Property Awards 2016, organized by Asia’s leading online property group PropertyGuru, was held in Singapore on November 24.
Now in its 6th year, the South East Asia Property Awards honors the top real estate developers, developments and designs in 8 countries in the region: Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
Malaysia’s Sime Darby Property bagged the coveted Best Developer title. “Given its significance and constant reinvention, Sime Darby Property is certainly an integral part of developing Malaysia’s history, and now Asia Property Awards history as the 2016 Best Developer (South East Asia),” the judges said.
Thailand took home a total of 4 regional awards; Indonesia, Singapore and Vietnam 2 regional titles each, and Myanmar 1 regional gong.
Terry Blackburn, founder and managing director of the Asia Property Awards, said 2016 has been a “momentous year.”
“Southeast Asia’s property sector has come a long way in the last decade and we are proud to have been a part of that growth,” Blackburn said.
