The Good - Cattleya Garden is another old but well-maintained building. The units in the building are wide and have good views of the street and surrounding buildings. Most of the units can fit about 2 to 5 people. It is located near business, food, shopping, and entertainment centers.

The Bad - The management does not allow pets inside the building. Also, the building has no amenities and has only a lobby and the residential units themselves. The street out front is quite narrow so this may become congested and busy at times. The lighting in most of the common areas is dim.

Property Management
From outside, one can see that the building is quite old in both maintenance and design. There are no pets allowed in the building. Gas or electricity may be used for cooking. Guests are allowed inside with permission from the tenant, security personnel, and concierge. The electricity and the water supply are provided for by the building so tenants have to pay directly to the Cattleya Garden management and not to service providers like Meralco and Manila Water for electricity and water utilities, respectively.
Fire exits, fire extinguishers, hoses, and automatic sprinklers are all installed, well-maintained and ready to use in case of an emergency. Security personnel guard the main entrance and lobby of the building. There are CCTV security cameras also monitor the hallways and elevators. Because the elevators are quite old, they are regularly checked and maintained to ensure residents’ safety.
The building does not have any amenities. It’s only common area is the lobby which is small but very welcoming. The lighting in the lobby is low-key and a little dim. The same goes for the hallways and elevators. The hallways are narrow but mostly because there are only a few units per floor. The elevators are old and quite small, but they are regularly checked for safety regulations.
Unit Quality
The units are of a good size and have wide balconies overlooking the other surrounding buildings and the street below. Most of the rooms can fit about 2 to 5 people. The walls are solid and block out unwanted noise. The furnitures installed in the room are nice sturdy. There are about 5 units per floor so noise and overcrowding in the elevator is really not a problem.
Located in Makati’s Central Business District, the area of the building is in a good place because it is surrounded by many commercial, business, retail, and entertainment centers. Everything is within easy walking distance which becomes convenient because of all the walk-friendly paths, crossing lanes, and traffic signals found all over the central business district. For farther areas, one can still easily access different modes of public transportation like taxis, jeeps, and buses.

No dogs allowed. It gets pretty busy during lunch and dinner. Also there is 24 hour security here.

I moved in 2 years ago and though I've gone through times where I wished I was closer to a greenbelt, I now couldn't imagine living anywhere else.
