The Good -

Families, especially those with elementary level children, will find the place to be greatly advantageous because it is right across Lourdes School Mandaluyong. Buying groceries and other essentials is easier because Shangri-La Plaza is just a few steps away from the condominium. Another thing that makes the building family friendly is the big unit cuts for the two bedroom, three bedroom, and four bedroom units.

The Bad -

The building’s units are of substandard quality. Some of the wooden floor tiles are coming off and the fixtures need repairing, which may add to your expenses. This deterioration is probably due to the fact that the building is quite old. Although the building is quite family friendly in terms of its location and unit sizes, the lack of open spaces and places to play or jog would probably dissuade some future homeowners.

The Verdict -

In terms of unit sizes, accessibility, and tight, 24-hour security, the building hits all the good marks. Other perks of living in Cityland Shaw include having a 50% back-up generator in case of power failures and having laundry shops and convenience stores nearby. Tenants and unit owners also have the advantage of nice city views and the luxury of some simple amenities such as a pool, a gym, and a function room. The pool area’s size is just right and the flooring is not slippery, which makes it safer for residents. Disadvantages come in the forms of poor maintenance in the common areas and units, high density floors, and lack of open spaces. Overall, even with the said disadvantages, the condominium would still be a great home for families or working professionals.
