The Good - Fairways Towers’ best attribute is location. It sits right at the corner of McKinley Road and 5th Avenue, making it highly accessible from both EDSA-Ayala and McKinley Hill. All its west-facing unit also offer spectacular view of the nearby Manila Golf and Country Club. It is also located just across the Singapore Embassy.

The Bad - However, since west facing these units get pretty stuffy in the afternoon. The building’s overall design also is somewhat uninspired (combination of white, gray, and brown paint), although its swimming pool is located at the highest occupied floor, offering stunning views of BGC and Makati.

Property Management
Although support and security staff looks fairly visible within the building’s premises, Fairways Tower exudes a feeling that it’s undermanned, given the condo’s sheer size. There’s only one concierge/lobby staff the day we visited the condo, and he was dealing with quite a lot of inquiries. However, overall the lobby looks clean and airy (though noticeably drab), and the hallways well maintained.
Security personnel are visible yet politely minding residents and visitors going in and out of the building’s premises. One security guard was particularly polite when we asked where to park our car. Hallways have CCTV cameras, though none visible inside the elevators. However, once inside people can access all floors.
The condo’s common areas (hallways, gym, swimming pool) are clean and well maintained. However, one particular elevator looks pretty beat-up. The condo has four passenger elevators and two service elevators.
Unit Quality
Units are big (smallest is 41-sqm studio) and have high ceilings, which make them seem larger that they actually are. However, the units’ designs were not as well-thought-out as other condos, which means there are obtrusive beams and pillars, especially in the bedrooms. The kitchens are small, with cabinets and cupboards made of veneer laminated wood that’s common in other condo projects.
Location is perhaps Fairways Tower’s best attribute. While it’s close to Bonifacio Global City’s commercial areas (McKinley Hill, Burgos Circle, The Fort Strip, and Boni High Street), it is in a quieter side of BGC. Its closest neighbors include Forbes Park and the Manila Golf and Country Club to the southwest and west, respectively; Federal Land’s Beaufort to the north, the Singapore Embassy to the east, and Regent Parkway and Essensa Private Residences to the southeast.

I thought the units were a decent price in comparison to other BGC buildings. The pool and gym was on the roof top and occasionally I had a trainer come out to train us there and we would do sprints on and box on the roof. There was plenty of space and the view was pretty nice. I didn't like the pool and thought it was cold too. I didn't like to congestion of the corner of Mckinley and 5th.

I live here for about a year. Although it's in BGC, it feels remote because it's located at the corner of the city and you'd have to walk a bit to get the BGC city feel.. When they through access on McKinley and 5th (not sure the purpose other than diverting traffic away from Aura) it became really congested so it became a bit of a pain to get in and out from the condo. Although the view of the golf course is nice, the afternoon sun would really bake the apartment so it was critical to have AC especially if you're unit is facing the golf course. The Gym was nice and spacious but I don't ever remember seeing anyone ever using the pool. It was located on top of the roof with a magnificent view (watch new years firework show from there) but it was under covered roof which made the pool feel cold. I'm not a fan of covered outdoor pools (what's the point). The guards didn't hassle me too much and seemed pretty lenient which I liked. Elevators weren't bad as there was 3 on each side totally 6. I wasn't a big fan of the layout of my one bedroom unit as it felt very confined for me. Part of it was just the way the unit owner constructed it. All in all, I'd probably prefer to live in other buildings in BGC.

I have been living in this condo for the last 20 months now. The condo management is quite poor with a profusion of cockroaches entering the apartments each time they do a gel baiting for insects in the common areas. The corridors leading to the apartments look like dungeon with limited lighting & absolutely no ventilation - the whole place always stinks. I live in the north wing where there are slated to be 3 elevators but invariably 1 is always down for maintenance - literally at all times. The elevators are also terribly slow, so long wait times are expected in the mornings & evenings. The overall color scheme of the apartment seems to be inspired by soviet style upper class 70s feel - you have dull discoloured grey flooring & dull walls; unless your landlord decides brighten things up. I live on the front side & mornings are terribly hot with bedroom winds exposed to maximum sunlight - which can be a paid when you are trying to sleep in. Gym is below average at best with limited equipment which tend to break down often & the whole gym smelling of sweat. The only bright spot of the apartment is the roof deck offering stunning views of the Manila Bay & Makati skyline, great to enjoy the evening breeze. Overall, an average place that i am looking to shift out of soon!
