The Good - The Grand Tower offers luxurious and generously spaced units for families settling in the heart of Makati Central Business District (CBD). With great accessibility to anything and everything in Makati, The Grand Tower in Salcedo is truly an ideal home for professionals and families residing in the city for business, leisure, work, or studies. The Grand Tower is a gated condominium; visitors aren’t allowed to enter the main premises right away. Residents will enjoy its low-density population, marking exclusivity as one of its perks as well.


The Bad - The Grand Tower’s lobby has a lingering unpleasant smell. The fitness gym provides the basic equipment in strengthening and cardiovascular exercises, but the area is small, especially considering the number of residents who will be using the amenity.


Property Management
The Grand Tower in Salcedo Village has set lenient policies for residents in choosing their preferred service provider for cable TV, telephone, and internet connection. The management has maintained its common areas and lobby, well. They do not allow food deliveries to proceed directly to the residential floors. On the other hand, they strictly prohibit pets in the condominium.
Security
The condominium building is gated; the security personnel manning the entrance will ask for your purpose before you are allowed to enter the condominium. Although there were no roaming guards around the common areas during the time of the visit, each common area has its own CCTV security camera installed to monitor activities simultaneously. As mentioned earlier, they do not allow deliveries to proceed right away without checking with the resident.
Amenities
Laden with neutral tones, the condominium lobby is spacious enough to hold a certain amount of guests. The ambiance is comfortable; however, there’s a lingering unpleasant smell in the lobby. The amenities in the condominium are found in the upper levels of the building; the condominium has a swimming pool, fitness gym, and a function room. The swimming pool has a stellar view of the Makati skyline. Residents can lounge at the poolside. The fitness gym has all the necessary equipment for exercise, but the space is small for use.
Unit Quality
The Grand Tower offers generously spaced two bedroom units, each floor only housing four units. Units have its own functional balcony. Units are installed with wooden laminate tiles, except from the bath and kitchen, which are installed with ceramic tiles. On the other hand, the kitchen has its complete cabinet system, with countertops and a slot for a refrigerator. The unit spaces can hold basic to bulky appliances and furniture without sacrificing space.
Location
The best of Makati is near your doorsteps as The Grand Tower is located within the center of it all. Enjoy various activities near the condominium as the Salcedo Saturday Market is just a few steps away. On the other hand, shopping malls, entertainment hubs, business centers, major office headquarters, and more are just a drive away. However, expect traffic congestion during rush hours in and around the area. Public transport vehicles are a few blocks away since those ply through the major roads in Makati.
