The Good - In case of power failure in the area, the building has 80% generator backup. There is a 24-hour security in the building. Although the building is already 31 years old, it is still in pretty good condition. There are 2 public elevators and 1 service elevator. The building is near parks, schools, business, retail, food, and entertainment areas. The units are wide and even the studio type ones can fit up to about 4 people. Tenants can use either gas or electricity for cooking.

The Bad - There are no dryer vents in the units. Although security is around the clock, residents cannot expect 24-hour reception in the lobby. The management doesn’t allow pets in the building. Lots of repairs are being conducted so only one public elevator is working out of the two. The hallways are not well-lit. Also, no amenities are available in the building. They only offer open parking spaces, which may not be convenient especially when it is too hot or rainy outside.

Property Management
The building is managed by Windsor Tower Condominium Association Inc. From the looks of the building facade and the common areas, it looks like maintenance is good. For landline and internet, services are provided by Globe while for cable, it is Sky Cable. Pets are not allowed in the building. With regards to air-conditioner provision, only window types can be accommodated. They allow the use of either electricity or gas for cooking. The building has 80% back-up power in case of power failure emergencies.
Building security is guaranteed 24 hours a day. The entrances and lobby are guarded by security personnel while all the common areas are monitored by surveillance cameras that look out for any threat. Fire precautions like smoke detectors, alarms, sprinklers, hoses, extinguishers, and exits are all work well and are always ready to use.
Windsor Tower, like most of the older buildings in Legaspi Village, does not have any amenities. The common areas in the building include the lobby, hallway, elevators, and open parking areas. The elevators are quite old that’s why they are being renovated a replaced with new ones. This is good because old elevators that are not working well may become a threat to the residents’ safety. The lobby and elevators are well lit but the hallways aren’t. The open parking is not that convenient for tenants because their vehicles are exposed to the elements.
Unit Quality
The unit quality is not that good. Yes, the rooms are big but seeing the little things like the poor furniture installation and the cracked walls means that the rooms are not being cared for either by the unit owner or management. The ceiling is low. The lighting is stark. The bathroom is also quite small. Overall, the design of the rooms and the building itself is very simple and plain.
The building is located in a good spot in Legaspi Village which allows residents to be near areas like Greenbelt, Glorietta, and other commercial centers. Sidewalks and pedestrian lanes are everywhere so walking to and fro the surrounding areas becomes no trouble at all. There are even traffic signals and waiting sheds for pedestrians’ convenience as well. For those who need public transportation for traveling longer distances, taxis, jeeps, and buses are available in the vicinity as well.
