Where’s the fun-loving and colorful 1960’s? And do you know that in reality the 1970’s was an era of slick, tailored, contemporary interiors unlike its music contemporary which is Woodstock. Where’s the relevant eclectic style where one fuses the hand me downs of their parents or grandparents and styles it together with their present day acquisitions? Maybe most of the above should be coined under mid-century era since the years mentioned are evolved from more important periods taken from industrial Turn of the century Victorian (broke away from hand craftsmanship to mass produced pieces) , modern Bauhaus 1920’s which had a resurgence in the 1980’s, and what about the Art Deco style?
