Hundreds of individuals pass by Ortigas Center every day on their way to and from their many workplaces in the bustling area. Thankfully, there are numerous restaurants in the region, some of which are conveniently positioned on the ground floors of business buildings, where people can quench their hunger and have a wonderful and filling lunch.

Whether you’re seeking those breakfasts, restaurant favorites with a flare, or authentic Japanese, Ortigas Center has something to satisfy your tastes.

The following are some of the greatest lunch spots in the area:

The Stockpile

The Stockpile, Chef Tanya Chua’s restaurant venture in The Sapphire Bloc on Sapphire Road, Ortigas Center, comes from the woman behind Sunshine Kitchen in BGC. Some people are unaware that the bistro, which is a popular after-work gathering, is also open for lunch, featuring a fusion of delicious meals from many cultures.

The Salisbury Steak with Rice, which is served with a delicious, all-beef patty resting on a platter with gravy and rice, and the Truffled 4 Cheese Pasta with Smoked Bacon, which is a definite treat for truffle aficionados, are two lunch favorites at this pub-bistro. Lunch plates of the restaurant’s best-selling meals are available to share, including Beer Braised Beef Belly with Cerveza Negra Sauce, 6-Hour Slow Roasted Panchetta with French beans, and Pan Roasted 24-Hour Brined Double Cut Pork Chop with rice or potatoes.

Each dish at The Stockpile is sure to satisfy, but diners may finish their meal with coffee or tea from the restaurant’s partner, Local Edition. If you desire to live in the area, there are condominiums for rent in Pasig.

B&P All Day Breakfast

B&P All Day Breakfast is situated on the ground floor of CyberScape Alpha in Ortigas Center, along Garnet Road. B&P, or Bea and Pia, the granddaughters of Annie Pascual-Guerrero, who created the Cravings Group, have been running the intimate restaurant since 2014. The restaurant, which specializes on breakfast staples and other comfort foods, is a two-story hideaway where patrons can have a relaxed and enjoyable meal.

B&P’s menu is clear and straightforward. Their best-selling rice bowls can be customized; for example, if you want your Pork Tocino served with Adobo Rice, just ask when you order. Each rice bowl comes with an egg, vegetables, and kimchi, resulting in a mouthful of rich flavors. B&P’s fried chicken, on the other hand, is a lunchtime favorite. Individuals can purchase a two-piece meal or a half-chicken order to share with friends.

Diners can pick desserts from their extensive menu and pair them with a cup of coffee to round up their meal. You can buy a condo for rent in Ortigas Center if you don’t want to travel to the resto.

Marufuku

Marufuku, the area’s most well-known Japanese restaurant, is located on the ground level of the Crescent Building on San Miguel Avenue, but access is via Amethyst Street. The open kitchen of the mid- size restaurant allows diners to observe the head chef in action. It’s the best area to eat Japanese food in the middle of the day, especially since it’s close to the business district.

The menu stays true to tradition, which is what makes Marufuku so trustworthy. However, first-time diners are invited to sample the rest of the menu. They serve a variety of noodle soups, an extensive seafood menu, and a variety of robotoyaki (charcoal-grilled skewers) that are popular among its regulars.

These eateries are near the condos for rent in Pasig. View our listings today and we’ll show you around.
