The place were good, as well as the staff, the grocery store is near so you wont have problems thinking what to eat. all in all the place is good. :)

My friend has a studio unit here. this is usually our hang out place. The area is accessible. Food and shopping places are also nearby. The problem with this place is that it is a flooded area and most of the time traffic.

The rooms are probably among the cheapest in Makati in this quality range. That's about it. The reception staff is very unfriendly and doesn't bother to help you, most rooms do not have wifi and the free lobby wifi frequently stops working, the pool is quite dirty and the gym too small for that many people. The area is one of the more run down parts of Makati, just bordering Pasay City. The view on the city from the roof terrace and the proximity to the airport are advantages though.

My friend lives in a studio unit here and I won't recommend it to those who needs more room to move around. And while it is a stone's throw away from shopping malls, restaurants, and transport, The Beacon is located in a flood-prone area. The pool is also not that big, so when residents swim during the weekend, there's not enough space for everyone. I liked the sauna and shower area though.

The Beacon is very affordable and its location is very accessible to malls, convenient stores, schools and public transportation. I like that it only takes 3 mins for me to walk to Walter Mart, 15 mins to Greenbelt and 20 mins to Glorietta. There are lots of restaurants near by that are also walking distance. Traffic is a bit of an issue though during rush hour but it gets lighter during mid day. Flood is another problem during rainy season and sometimes the roads even gets completely inaccessible. I also don't like that they don't allow pets. The amenities though are great. It has a huge pool which doesn't get crowded and a big function room. Their gym though is pretty basic but its good enough just for light work out. I like that they have nice locker rooms with a sauna. The view is great at the roof deck and there's a common area you can use for wifi. Their elevator though sometimes takes a while because it services around 40 floors per tower. The one bedroom unit is very spacious and the layout is great. Interiors are nice and fixtures are okay. Hallways are quite narrow but its always kept clean and well lit. Over all, i would recommend the Beacon to those who are working near the area or small families since there are nearby schools and to those who prefers to walk than driving around city.
