The Good - One Rockwell is truly number one in making Rockwell Center one of the most coveted addresses in Makati City. The grand lobby of the building has nice natural lighting, comfortable couches, and a 24-hour concierge. The units are topnotch and have great views. Rockwell Land Corporation kept its promise to deliver high-end amenities including a fitness gym, spectacular swimming pools, and a sky deck. The building has really good security with security personnel guarding every floor, including the amenities.

The Bad - The main lobby of the building is not on the ground floor but on the third floor. It can be accessed both by elevator and by a car ramp.

Property Management
Developed by Rockwell Land Corporation, One Rockwell East Tower is beautifully designed and has well-maintained facilities. The building is secured and has strict rules regarding people who enter the building; clearly, the residents’ safety and comfort is their first priority. Number One Rockwell East was turned over last 2010, so future home buyers are guaranteed spotless, quality units. Pets are allowed in the building. Dryer vents are available in each unit so tenants can do their laundry. Guests are allowed to come in the units but only with permission from both the tenant and the security personnel. Renovations, repairs, and replacements in the units are also allowed with consent from the unit owner or management.
The building has tight and strict security. Security personnel guard not only the main entrance, lobby, and parking areas, but also each floor and the amenities areas. The main lobby of the tower is in the third floor of the building. It is harder to access but makes the building more exclusive to their tenants who mostly have cars. Surveillance cameras are also installed in all the common areas including the hallways, lobby, elevators, parking area, and amenities area. Fire safety precautions are in place. Alarms, smoke detectors, automatic sprinklers, hoses, extinguishers, and exits are in top shape and can easily be used during an emergency.
The east tower has a grand lobby on the third floor that is well lit. The lobby has floor-to-ceiling windows that creates great natural lighting during day time. A concierge is available 24/7. The hallways are simple, well kept, and quiet. The elevators looks well maintained and polished. Both the hallways and elevators also have good lighting. The amenities in the building include two pools. The smaller one is on the ground floor and the bigger one is on the sky deck. Both the pools are clear and well kept. A two-floor gym is also available at the ground floor. The gym has membership but still allows guests to come in for a fee. The workout equipment are complete and in good condition. The area is clean and has good ventilation.
Unit Quality
The overall design of the building is modern yet minimalistic. The colors are mostly neutral with off-white being the dominant color. From the top view, the building has a unique zigzag pattern, which gives the units unique views as well. The units are spacious, fully furnished, and well kept. Most of the units have balconies offering fantastic views. They can be accessed either in the bedroom or the living room of the units. Most of the units have the same layout and started out with the same basic design. But over time, some of the unit owners may have renovated their units which gives some of the units, a one of a kind design. Some of the walls are separating the rooms in the units are hollow but they are painted well. The furnitures are sturdy and comfortable. The appliances in the units are complete. One can immediately see that the units are well designed and maintained.
One Rockwell Center is located at Rockwell Center, Makati. It is surrounded by other high-end buildings and villages. The center comes complete with business, commercial, shopping, food, and entertainment areas most of which are a walk away. The area is pedestrian friendly and comes with spacious sidewalks, crossing lanes, and traffic lights. Tenants do not need to fear walking around the area because of the convenient features and the safety assured by guards and security personnel patrolling the area. Public transportation like taxis and jeepneys are also available around the area.

One Rockwell is a massive development evidently seen when entering the Rockwell community. Its massiveness also gives a preview of the density of the property. Although spaces are relatively small sized compared to other Rockwell residential buildings, the units size cuts allows more practicality in condo living relative to utility costs. The common areas are very well done welcoming your guests with a modern and lush, giving unit owners and visitors an extended living space feel. Boutique restaurants among Manila's best are at the ground floor within reach. Noticing more tenants than end users, I would recommend this property to buy for good rental investment.

We visited a family friend's unit, and I fell in love with the place. It's spacious and features a loft design that is perfect for the modern urbanite. They also had a friendly, welcoming, and staff. If I had enough money, I would want to live here. The fact that it's also near Powerplant Mall and everything else is just perfect.

One Rockwell is a great place to live. The building is properly maintained and everything works well. I never found an pests, even when I was on a lower floor, the building is very clean. The pool on the East tower is amazing, not too big but good enough for lapping. The gym is great, and the location is very good, near Makati. One of the best parts of One Rockwell is the service staff, they are very attentive and always looking out for you. They really go the extra mile to make you feel at home and comfortable. Also, my unit came fully furnished, and by Rockwell standards this means completely furnished. I really did not have to buy anything but cleaning supplies, laundry detergent and that kind of stuff. The not so good part of Rockwell in general is that the majority of establishments close around 9pm, a bit early for my schedule.

Rockwell Land

Established in 1995, Rockwell Land Corporation is co-owned by Manila Electric Company (Meralco) and First Holdings. The developer's first project was the Rockwell Center, a 15.5 hectare residential and commercial lot in Makati City that was the original site of the Meralco-owned Rockwell thermal plant, which got its name from James Chapman Rockwell, Meralco’s first president. Today, Rockwell Center is composed of several high-rise residential condominium communities, a sports and leisure club, a shopping mall, office structures and a graduate school of law and business.  With almost 20 years of experience, Rockwell Land makes it a point to build “calamity-proof” structures based on 100-year flood cycle plans.
