The Good - The condominium is a luxurious and high-end living space that guarantees quality units, views, amenities, security, and accessibility for all its residents. The building has spacious rooms that are well maintained and even renovated especially for new tenants. The lobby is warm and well-lit, and the concierge is always available. Its location is also very accessible and surrounded by commercial, business, retail, and entertainment areas. Pets are allowed and there are only a few floors per unit which lessens the noise and disturbance.

The Bad - Gas stoves are not allowed in the building. Some of the rooms do not come fully furnished so it may require more work. The views depend on the floor level and which side of the building the unit is on. Not every unit has a good view.

Property Management
The building is about 10 years old and is well-maintained. The classy facade and lobby of the building really boasts luxury. Its property management is lenient when it comes to pets. Guests can also enter, but they need permission from the unit owner and the security before they are permitted to enter the condominium premises. For cooking, only electric stoves can be used. Both split-type and window-type air-conditioners can be installed in the units. Construction and renovations can be done in the rooms with the management’s consent, but some unit owners do not want their tenants to change the layout of the unit.
Security is tight in the tower. Numerous security personnel look after the entrances, lobbies, and parking areas in the building. CCTV security cameras are also installed in all the common areas so that any suspicious activity may be monitored. Safety measures against fire like alarms, smoke detectors, automatic sprinklers, hoses, extinguishers, and exits are all in top shape and readily accessible for tenants and unit owners.
The lobby of the building feels warm. The lighting is good and a little low-key. Fresh flowers are placed around the furniture to give the lobby a homier feel for guests and tenants. Comfortable chairs and couches are also in place in the lobby. The concierge is always available to attend to any of their guests’ or tenants’ needs. The elevators are well-lit, clean, and shiny. You can see right away that they are well-maintained. The hallways are wide and have good lighting. The amenities area is wide and spacious and includes two pools, a jacuzzi, a playground, a sauna, a gym, and locker and shower rooms. There is also a wide open space with chairs and tables for lounging.
Unit Quality
The luxury condominium was designed well and you can feel right away just from the façade of the building that it is a high-end living space. There are 4 units per floor. This helps lessen noise and disturbances between the units. The rooms are wide and can fit about 2 to 5 people. The included furnitures are built well. Overall, you can see that the building is maintained well despite its age.
Located at the heart of Legaspi Village, The Shang Grand Tower is surrounded by different business, commercial, retail, shopping, and entertainment centers just a few steps away. There are many places to choose from and all of them are accessible. Walking around isn’t a problem because the streets are lined with sidewalks and pedestrian crossings. The area looks safe and also since the building has tough security, tenants and unit owners can rest easy in their homes.

Located 5 minutes away from Ayala Museum, Greenbelt and Glorietta Mall, The Shang Grand Tower, is by far my favorite luxury apartment in Makati. Staffs are very well trained, polite, and efficient. Facilities are very well maintained in spite of the fact that the building is 10-years old. The function room has a ceiling height akin to hotel ballrooms and can accommodate over 100 guests comfortably. Rustan's Greenbelt 1 and Landmark are but a few steps away so replenishing groceries is easy.

Despite of the building being old, they were able to maintain it very well. If you are looking quality with good space, this would be the place to be. These days new condominiums lack good space that's why we tend to go with old buildings as they have bigger living space. Security is top notch as they only give unit owners/tenants key cards to use elevators.

This condominium screams money. The lobby is very posh and well-appointed. I've been here a couple of times to shoot some units and really liked the large cut units. Security is also good. You need key cards for the elevator. Situated in a prime location in Makati, you have easy access to everything.
