About This Project
Providence Negros introduces a housing project without any precedence in the Philippines. This is the only housing project that took into serious considerations the safety & security of its residents especially the children and how to provide its residents more ‘open spaces’ given the sizes of its homes. It is designed to have residential ‘pods’ concept rather than the normally ‘grid-block’ type to produce a ‘sense of space and exclusivity’.
It is a housing project that has wider road system at 15 meters right-of-way (ROW). The density was significantly reduced, as the saleable area is less than 60% from the usual 70% of the total area of development. This development went far beyond providing better amenities by designing the housing units not to face the road but facing a garden of open space that will provide playgrounds for children and a promenade space for the residents. No longer will the residents have to utilize the roads and sidewalks for open spaces. It is the first socialized mass housing project that has generous ‘greeneries’ to enhance the living atmosphere.
